I'd like to take some credit for it, but the Sheriff kicked his own ass.  He made an uninterrupted string of mistakes and made it extremely difficult for people to support him.  Even people who liked him couldn't support censorship of the newspaper, or picking on someone for their antique car, and so on.

All I did was poke him with a stick and run for cover.    

It was actually a really interesting race.  I'll blog it later ... there were a lot of things happening out here, that just don't happen in Shiawassee.  It was ... wild ... to say the least.
